Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Gravitt Digital LLC ("Gravitt Digital," "we," "us") collects, uses and protects information when you visit gravittdigital.com, order or use our services, or receive a message from us. We are a small business, and we try to collect only what we need.
1. Information we collect
From customers. When you order or contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, business details (such as services, hours, address and service area), photos and other materials you upload, your order details, and our messages with you.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details such as the last four digits of a card, but we never see or store full card numbers.
From businesses we contact. When we reach out to businesses about our services, we use publicly available business information, such as business name, business phone number, address, website, public business email address and public social media page. We also keep a record of anyone who asks not to be contacted, so we can honor that request.
From website visitors. Our website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting providers automatically record basic technical information, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
2. How we use information
- To build, host, update and support your website.
- To process payments and manage your account.
- To communicate with you about orders, previews, changes, billing and support.
- To contact businesses about our services, and to honor opt-out requests.
- To keep our services secure and working, and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
3. Artificial intelligence tools
We use Anthropic's Claude API to help write, check and update website text and outreach messages. To do this, we send it the business information needed for the task, such as business name, services, hours and descriptions. Anthropic processes this information as a service provider under its commercial terms. Please do not include sensitive personal information, such as health, financial or government ID details, in your order or change requests.
4. Service providers we use
We share information only with providers that help us run our business, and only as needed for their service:
- Cloudflare: our website, automation, domain registration and email forwarding.
- Netlify: hosting customer websites.
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Tally: order and change request forms.
- Resend: sending our emails.
- Anthropic: AI-assisted writing and quality checks.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or others' safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
5. Your customers and your website
Our standard customer websites do not include contact forms, analytics or tracking cookies, so they do not collect personal information from your visitors beyond the basic technical logs kept by the hosting provider. If you add third-party tools to your site, such as an online booking service, those tools are governed by their own privacy policies, and you are responsible for any privacy notices your business is required to provide.
6. How long we keep information
- Customer information: while your account is active, and afterward for as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting purposes.
- Sample websites made for businesses we contact: taken down after 30 days if not claimed, or sooner on request.
- Outreach records: deleted or closed out when no longer needed, except that we keep a minimal record of opt-out requests so we never contact that business again.
7. Your choices and rights
- Opting out: every outreach email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also reply or email us. Once you opt out, we will not contact you again about our services.
- Access, correction and deletion: email us to request a copy of your information, correct it, or delete it. We may keep information we are required to keep by law, such as billing records.
We will respond to requests within a reasonable time and honor them regardless of where you live.
8. Security
We use reputable providers, secure connections (HTTPS) and access controls to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your information occurs, we will notify you as required by law.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses and adults, and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date, and notify active customers by email of material changes.
